The live, televised announcement of the “TitleTown USA” winner on SportsCenter previously scheduled to air Sunday, July 27 has been moved to Monday, July 28, at 6 p.m. ET, as announced by ESPN.  Fan voting to determine the winning community from among 20 finalists began on July 23 and concludes Sunday, July 27.

“This change gives us more time to put in place additional production elements that will conclude ‘TitleTown USA’ on SportsCenter in a manner befitting the tremendous response and fan-engagement the program has generated,” said ESPN senior coordinating producer Glenn Jacobs, who is overseeing the SportsCenter initiative.

Online voting on ESPN.com is the only way SportsCenter’s “TitleTown USA” will be determined as fans will have the opportunity to select the winner from among the 20 communities (cities, towns and municipalities) in the finals.  Fans are encouraged to visit www.GatorZone.com and click the TitleTown USA link to vote. Fans can vote one time per computer throughout the duration of the voting.

The finalists include:  Green Bay, Wisc.; Lawrence, Kan.; Pittsburgh; Knoxville, Tenn.; Chapel Hill, N.C.; Los Angeles; Palo Alto, Calif.; Louisville, Ky.; Chicago; Boston; Gainesville, Fla.; New York; Valdosta, Ga.; Detroit; San Francisco; Williamsport, Pa.; Ann Arbor, Mich.; Columbus, Ohio; Parkersburg, W.Va.; and Massillon, Ohio.
